It was an incredible weekend as the Hokies won both the Men's and Women's indoor ACC Team Championships. The vaulters contributed in a big way scoring 26.5 points on the men's side and 21 points on the women's side.

For the women, freshman Kenna Stimmel had a first attempt clear at 14'5.25" to win the women's title after a clutch 3rd attempt clear the heigh before. Julia Fixsen finished 2nd with an incredible effort. A foot injurt flared up during the meet. With the option to retire she instead passed her remaining two attempts at 14'1 and 14'3 and then found a way to put up one more solid jump to clear 14' 5.25" and take the silver medal. Haley jumping clear through the first three bars was also huge as it secured the 6th place spot. With a narrow 2 point win for the team title all of these performances were crucial.

The guys were rock solid finishing 1st, 2nd, tied for 3rd, 7th, and 8th, in a deep field. The story of the day was sophmore Conner McClure. It was Conner's first meet back after injuring his back almost one year ago. But it was a great one as he set two personal bests at 17'4 and 17'8 to come from nowhere to win the event. Consistent 17'+ performances from Jacob and Harrison helped rake in big points. Addiing to the toal was Joey who set a personal best 16'7.75" and Jacob Spotswood who managed that same height for 8th despite coming off two grueling days in the heptathlon.

GO HOKIES! .....
